The plan for Monday was actually 3 miles but once I got to 2.5 I quite haha. I figured that was close enough. 😉 Anyways, got up, got my run done, then did day two of the 30 Day Shred. Oh man, I was tired, sore, but I still did it! My legs actually felt a lot better today though. They’re definitely not as sore/tired as they have been in the past couple of days, so I guess they’re adjusting to the streaking thing. 🙂

Did you guys know I have a super power? It just so happens to be catching loose dogs! 🐶 Lol so while attempting to get in a mile for day 13 of #rwrunstreak I saw this guy out running around, so I called him and he came right to me (seriously, it’s my super power. 😉). So I grabbed him, called his owner, and we hung out for 5 ish minutes until his owner got there. Problem solved, Ashley saves the day! 😄 So I turn onto a different street and try to continue on my way, but I end up being chased by ANOTHER dog. And I know this dog and he’s not my biggest fan. You see, I run past his house almost every day and he’s always on a tie out near the road and he always barks/growls at me. Understandably so, he’s just protecting what is his. The problem is today he finally had his chance to teach me a lesson and he was definitely going to take it! He came running at me, hackles raised and growling. So I tried talking to him and letting him sniff my hand, but he wasn’t having it and he snapped at me. So his owner saw him and came running at him, so the dog took off running (pro tip, if your dog ever gets loose don’t run after him, he’ll just think it’s a fun game and keep running away). So I saw my chance to get away and bailed onto another street. Usually I would have helped this guy catch the dog, but like I said, he doesn’t like me and I didn’t want to get bit. Besides, I already got one dog back to where he needed to be to day. So that’s my story for today. I’m just out there saving the world, one loose dog at a time!!🐕😄
- RWRunStreak Day 14: 2 miles
Fuck me. All of my running plans for the next few days just went out the window.☹️ My brother in law came here last night, and he likes to use his fucking vape right on the front porch and then open the door right after he does so his huge chemical trails follow him right into the house. Not only is that super disgusting, but It hardcore fucks up my lungs because I have asthma. Luckily it’s not that bad, but vape stuff and cigarette smoke always causes me a lot of problems…Anyway, I wanted to do 4 miles today but I knew that wasn’t gonna happen. Honestly I’m impressed that I made it through 2.

- 30 minutes on the stationary bike
Nothing fancy. Just a mile to keep the streak alive. 🙂
- RWRunStreak Day 16: 1 mile
After a long day of Christmas shopping, gift wrapping, and light hanging (I talk in depth about all of my Christmas time adventures here 🙂 ), I still managed to get a mile done! Hahaha not gonna lie, after being out and about all day running was the last thing I wanted to do, but I’m glad I did. I ended up feeling a lot better afterwards.

- 45 minutes on the stationary bike
My asthma was still kinda acting up on Saturday, so I did two miles and then switched to the stationary bike. Not the kind of run I wanted to do, but at least I’m keeping the streak going and I’m still moving!

Running has felt incredibly difficult lately. Probably thanks to my asthma and brother in law but it’s still really frustrating. But at least I made it through 3 miles today. 🙂
