I’ve had some super yummy and relatively nutritious food today, so I thought I’d share it with you guys because who doesn’t like talking about food? 😉
For breakfast I got into the autumn spirit with a “pumpkin pie” smoothie. It’s just 1 frozen banana, 1 cup vanilla soy milk, 1/2 cup canned pumpkin, 1/3 cup old fashioned oats, 1 tbs chia seeds, and 1 tbs honey.
Lunch was my current favorite meal; 1 egg scrambled in 1 tbs olive oil, 1/2 a mashed avacado with salt and pepper, and onion slices, on whole wheat toast.
Dinner was amazing! We had serloin steak wrapped in bacon, fresh green beans with butter, and a baked potato with sour cream. Freaking awesome!! 😁
Aaaand not pictured; my morning snack was 2 clementines and a cup of coffee with 1/4 cup chocolate chip cookie flavored creamer, afternoon snack was 2 and 1/2 cups of pumpkin spice Cheerios and a banana, and evening snack was 2 slices of whole wheat toast with some of our homemade strawberry jam.
Went almost 300 calories over my goal today, but I don’t care. My tummy is a super happy camper today. 😁
