Weekly Recap: December 11th-17th, 2017

Monday:

  • 1.5 miles

Ugh, by Monday I was starting to feel really tired. I was still kind of in denial about why though, so I did 1.5 miles to keep the streak alive.

img_8320

Tuesday:

  • 1 mile

On Tuesday I made the very poor decision of putting spinach in my smoothie. That was a really bad idea and I explain all of that here. 😉 I spent most of Tuesday morning stuck on the couch with stomach cramps and the only relife I could get was from a REALLY hot heat pack. I’ve still got a few red marks on my stomach haha. But I still got in a mile!

img_8340

Wednesday:

  • 2 miles
  • 30 Day Shred Day 5
  • 10 minutes of yoga
  • 40 minutes on the stationary bike

By Wednesday I was getting really frustrated. I couldn’t run as far as I wanted. As I knew I could! I was tired, I sore, and upset. It seemed like nothing was helping my tired legs and I was beginning to think that my streaking days might be over.

Thursday: The Day My Streak Died

  • Rest Day

On Thursday I woke up and I knew it was over. I had gotten a full 8 hours of sleep but I woke up exhausted. I was sore in places that I didn’t think I should be sore in and I could barely bring myself to get out of bed, let alone trying to run. So I knew I had to quite. My streak had ended at 21 days and I wasn’t even upset. I was relieved.

img_8370

Friday:

  • Rest Day

Holy cow! What a difference one day of doing nothing made! I woke up feeling so much better! I was less tired and sore and felt a lot better all around. Ending my streak was definitely the right move. I’m thinking a little break from running is in order, and another rest day was as well. 🙂

Saturday:

  • Rest Day

Literally did nothing exciting on Saturday haha.

Sunday:

  • Rest day

Basically a repeat of Saturday haha. I’ve been very much enjoying my little break from running and pretty much everything else. I also don’t feel so tired and gross anymore, so that’s a huge plus!!

Weekly Recap December 4th-10th, 2017

Monday:

  • RWRunStreak Day 12: 2.5 miles
  • 30 Day Shred Day 2

The plan for Monday was actually 3 miles but once I got to 2.5 I quite haha. I figured that was close enough. 😉 Anyways, got up, got my run done, then did day two of the 30 Day Shred. Oh man, I was tired, sore, but I still did it! My legs actually felt a lot better today though. They’re definitely not as sore/tired as they have been in the past couple of days, so I guess they’re adjusting to the streaking thing. 🙂

img_8100

How awesome are my matching skills haha!? Dear Santa, Ashley could use another pair of black running tights. 😉

Tuesday:

  • RWRunStreak Day 13: 1.5 miles
  • 30 Day Shred Day 3

Did you guys know I have a super power? It just so happens to be catching loose dogs! 🐶 Lol so while attempting to get in a mile for day 13 of #rwrunstreak I saw this guy out running around, so I called him and he came right to me (seriously, it’s my super power. 😉). So I grabbed him, called his owner, and we hung out for 5 ish minutes until his owner got there. Problem solved, Ashley saves the day! 😄 So I turn onto a different street and try to continue on my way, but I end up being chased by ANOTHER dog. And I know this dog and he’s not my biggest fan. You see, I run past his house almost every day and he’s always on a tie out near the road and he always barks/growls at me. Understandably so, he’s just protecting what is his. The problem is today he finally had his chance to teach me a lesson and he was definitely going to take it! He came running at me, hackles raised and growling. So I tried talking to him and letting him sniff my hand, but he wasn’t having it and he snapped at me. So his owner saw him and came running at him, so the dog took off running (pro tip, if your dog ever gets loose don’t run after him, he’ll just think it’s a fun game and keep running away). So I saw my chance to get away and bailed onto another street. Usually I would have helped this guy catch the dog, but like I said, he doesn’t like me and I didn’t want to get bit. Besides, I already got one dog back to where he needed to be to day. So that’s my story for today. I’m just out there saving the world, one loose dog at a time!!🐕😄

Wednesday:

  • RWRunStreak Day 14: 2 miles

Fuck me. All of my running plans for the next few days just went out the window.☹️ My brother in law came here last night, and he likes to use his fucking vape right on the front porch and then open the door right after he does so his huge chemical trails follow him right into the house. Not only is that super disgusting, but It hardcore fucks up my lungs because I have asthma. Luckily it’s not that bad, but vape stuff and cigarette smoke always causes me a lot of problems…Anyway, I wanted to do 4 miles today but I knew that wasn’t gonna happen. Honestly I’m impressed that I made it through 2.

img_8146

Thursday:

  • RWRunStreak Day 15: 1 Mile
  • 30 minutes on the stationary bike

Nothing fancy. Just a mile to keep the streak alive. 🙂

img_8170

Friday:

  • RWRunStreak Day 16: 1 mile

After a long day of Christmas shopping, gift wrapping, and light hanging (I talk in depth about all of my Christmas time adventures here 🙂 ), I still managed to get a mile done! Hahaha not gonna lie, after being out and about all day running was the last thing I wanted to do, but I’m glad I did. I ended up feeling a lot better afterwards.

img_8251-1

Saturday:

  • RWRunStreak Day 17: 2 miles
  • 45 minutes on the stationary bike

My asthma was still kinda acting up on Saturday, so I did two miles and then switched to the stationary bike. Not the kind of run I wanted to do, but at least I’m keeping the streak going and I’m still moving!

img_8281

Sunday:

  • RWRunStreak Day 18: 3 miles
  • 30 Day Shred Day 4

Running has felt incredibly difficult lately. Probably thanks to my asthma and brother in law but it’s still really frustrating. But at least I made it through 3 miles today. 🙂

Weekly Recap: November 27th-December 3rd, 2017

Monday:

  • RWRunStreak Day 5: 5k

Ugh! Why was it 60 degrees out on Monday?!?!? Actually, why has it been super crazy warm for most of November…It’s looking like this winter is shaping up to be another warm and dry one. Sad face. I’m not a fan…

But on the bright side! Monday’s run went pretty well! I felt great so I decided to do a nice little interval workout. Haha so this isn’t technically my 5k PR (I’m still suffering from new watch syndrome 😉 ), but hey, I’ll gladly take it!! 🙂

img_7953

Tuesday:

  • RWRunStreak Day 6: 1 mile

So I may or may not have run this mile a little too fast. Especially since I decided to do interval work on Monday. Oops…This is exactly the kind of thing that got me into trouble last time I attempted this streak. I’ve really gotta learn to rein it in haha. But not much I can do about it now and I had a lot of fun, so at least there’s that.

Also, during this run I wore a blaze orange hat, olive green shirt, colorful, foliage print tights, blue shoes, and a bright yellow watch. I am really good at matching things. 😉

img_7977

Wednesday:

  • RWRunStreak Day 7: 3 easy miles

Nothing too exciting on Wednesday. Ran down to a pasture to try to see some cows but they weren’t out that morning. Haha oh well. At least I got a couple of miles done. 🙂 I’ve kinda been slacking on everything that was not running so far this week. Oops…I need to get back to doing that.

img_7988

Thursday:

  • RWRunStreak Day 8: 1 mile

Another not so exciting day of streaking haha. Just did an easy mile to keep it going. 🙂 But my super neato Zensah holiday socks got here on Thursday and I legit waited for them to show up so I could wear them for this mile.

img_8006

They’re a limited edition par of Zensah socks, but you can still snag yourself a pair here while supplies last!! 🙂

Friday:

  • RWRunStreak Day 9: 1 easy mile

Just another easy mile on Friday. My legs were feeling a bit tired so I figured I shouldn’t push it too much. Especially since I’m still kinda early into this streak. It’s all good though! I actually manged to run this one “easy” so I’m pretty proud of myself about that. 🙂

img_8027

Saturday:

  • RWRunStreak Day 10: 5miles
  • 40 minutes of yoga

5 easy peasy miles! Not gonna lie, at this point my legs are pretty tired. But I suppose that’s pretty normal after running 10 days in a row, after taking a little break from running, after a big goal race. 😉 Haha I have a feeling that I’m going to end up being super duper tired in the days to come, but I think my body will adjust as long as I stick with it. I have a really bad habit of not sticking with the goals I set for myself and making excuses for not doing it. Like I’m too tired or my legs are too sore or whatever, and then I don’t end up meeting my goals or making any kind of progress. I’m not going to do that this time though. I am going to finish this freaking streak haha.

img_8066

Sunday:

  • RWRunStreak Day 11: 1 mile
  • Day one of Jillian Michaels’ 30 Day Shred

Today’s run was brought to you by the Foxboro Hot Tubs, because I really didn’t want to run today. As predicted, I’m tired and my legs hurt. But like I said, I’m not giving up on this thing, so I turned on Stop Drop and Roll because I can’t listen to this album and not move, ya feel me? Got my run done, and then on a whim decided that I wanted to do Jillian Michaels’ 30 Day Shred again. It’s a fun program and it’s been a while since I’ve done it so I figured, why not? Plus I really need to work on my strength so this should help! So basically I’m doing two challenges at a time because I’m crazy. 😉 I did feel less sore and tired after the workout though, so that’s good. 🙂 I’m sure I’ll be crazy sore tomorrow though haha.

Total Weekly Mileage: 15.13

So the plan for this month is to start building up my total weekly mileage and just build a much better base through out the winter. The streak should definitely help with that, since I’m going to be running at least a mile everyday. 🙂 I guess 15 miles is a good place to work up from. We’ll see how it actually goes, but right now I’d like to build up to 25-30 by the end of the month and then hopefully 50-60 by maybe February or March. I’m thinking that’ll be good for a nice slow build. I want to get stronger physically and mentally, and I can’t think of a better way to do that than building up my mileage. And a little bit of added strength work as well. 😉

Weekly Recap: November 20th-26th, 2017

Whew! This week was a crazy one!! Luke, the dogs, and I spent Thanksgiving at my parent’s place in Colorado, so we spent a crazy amount of time driving. On Wednesday our drive took 11 ish hours (although I think the time zone change actually made it more like 12 hours). But we spent a lot of time messing around and having fun (I talk all about that here, if you’re interested! 😉 ). And then the drive home on Friday took closer to 10 hours but it was a lot less fun. It was actually a huge cluster fuck, but at least it’s over and we’re home! 🙂 Along with our crazy holiday week, I also started the RWRunStreak for the 3rd year in a row. I didn’t finish it the past two years, but this is gonna be my year!! Anyways, lets get to my weekly recap!!

Monday:

  • 1 easy mile
  • 10 minute of strength training

Just an easy mile on Monday, because I wanted to run but I didn’t want to run that much, ya feel me? 😉 Haha I’m very much enjoying my little off season thing right now. Just running for fun and sometimes that means only hitting the road for a single mile. Anyways, I’ve been writing down some of my goals and one of them for this month is to work on strength training. Specifically strength work that caters to runners, so I found this short little 10 minute workout on YouTube that I really like and will be doing for a little bit. 🙂

img_7749-1

Tuesday:

  • Thanksgiving trip prep day

Haha I couldn’t call Tuesday a rest day even though I didn’t really do any kind of workout, not really. I spent the day cleaning the house, packing, made a pie, walked the dogs, and just got everything ready in general for Thanksgiving and the few days we’d be in Colorado.

img_7766

Wednesday:

  • Drove to Colorado

On Wednesday we woke up at 3 in the morning, packed the car, and drove 30 minutes in the opposite direction from the state of Colorado because Luke forgot to turn in his time sheet at work and he had to do that before we left haha. After that was done we began our crazy 11 ish hour journey. So we didn’t get very far at first because it was 17 degrees outside and the heater in our car doesn’t work. So we had to stop at walmart and get a heated blanket and some of those hand warmer things to stuff in our socks. That was interesting. We also saw some crazy stuff! We saw a semi truck hauling one of those ready made homes, stuck under an overpass, the poop emoji on a billboard, a UPS truck sitting in a ditch, a guy getting out of his truck at a gas station to shoo a crow off of his car, among other things. I talk in more detail about all of that craziness here. 🙂

Thursday: Thanksgiving Day

  • 2 mile hike around Rabbit Mountain with Luke, my brother, and all 3 dogs
  • 4 mile run/walk around a lake with my dad

Whew! Things got crazy on Thanksgiving!! This was the first day Luke actually got to spend in Colorado (the last time he’d been in the state was just to drive through on our way to the Grand Canyon), so he wanted to go hiking somewhere. So we took the dogs and my brother to Rabbit Mountain, which is super pretty, 10 minutes away from my mom and dad’s apartment, and the mountain my dad took me hiking on the last time I was in Colorado. We hiked to the top, did some fun bushwhacking, and back down (which ended up being 2 miles) in a little over an hour. It was a lot of fun and the dogs loved it!! Also, on the way there I found a Honey Stinger waffle in the car and I was super stoked about that because I really needed it by the time we were done haha.

After our hike we headed back to the apartment, hung out with my mom and helped her do some cooking while my dad slept (he works nights), once he woke up we ate our Thanksgiving dinner, and then after letting our dinner digest a little bit my dad and I set out to run/walk around the lake next to his apartment complex. It’s a super pretty lake with a nice trail that’s mostly gravel, but also had some concrete, with the mountains off in the distance and an amazing view of Longs peak. It was probably one of the most beautiful runs I’ve ever been on!! So my dad isn’t much of a runner, so I’m super impressed with how well we did! We did run/walk intervals for the first 5k and then ended up walking the last mile we did for a total of 4 miles. It was so much fun and we both had a great time. I love doing stuff with my dad because I always learn stuff when I’m with him. He’s taught me everything I know about gardening, growing stuff, and the great outdoors. 🙂

So this 4 mile adventure kicked off this years winter run streak and it was a great way to start it!! 🙂

Friday:

  • easy 1 mile
  • 30 minutes of yoga

Unfortunately we couldn’t spend more time in Colorado because Luke had to work. So at 2 am on Friday morning we had to head back to Kansas. The ride back was pretty awful. I guess the dogs had eaten something that didn’t agree with them so Finn ended up having diarrhea in the car twice, and Lily did once…We had to stop several times to let them go potty and we threw away some stuffed animals that my mom sent home with us for the dogs, a blanket, hoodie, and backpack because they were covered in dog shit. It was awful. But we finally made it home!

After relaxing for a little bit I went out and got my mile in for the RWRunStreak, did a little bit of much needed yoga, and then did a bunch of cleaning around the house. So yeah, Friday was pretty busy too, but I’m very glad to be back home. 🙂

img_7920

Saturday:

  • RWRunStreak Day 3: 2 miles

Nothing too exciting running wise on Saturday. Just two easy miles. Haha I needed to work on rehydrating after our super lon trip home yesterday. I never drink enough water on long car rides. 😆

Sunday:

  • RWRunStreak day 4: 1 mile
  • 30 minutes on the stationary bike
  • 20 minutes of yoga

Jus a mile to keep the streak alive, 30 minutes of pedaling because I was bored, and 20 minutes of yoga to keep the body happy.😁

Weekly Recap: October 30th-November 5th, 2017

Monday:

  • 3 miles

I kind of ended up surprising myself on this run! My legs were kinda sore/heavy from my not so great long run last Saturday, but I actually ended up feeling really good and having a lot of fun on Monday! Good thing too, because after my run I spent the rest of the day taking care of my sick husband, and knew that more likely than not, I was going to end up getting sick too.

Processed with Rookie Cam

Tuesday:

  • First sick day

I would end up getting sick on one of my favorite holidays…not that it really matters though. Since Halloween fell on a Tuesday this year we didn’t really do anything fun, and it was pretty cold out so we only got 7 or 8 trick or treater’s. Anyways, spend the day watching a few Stephen King movies and pretty much moping around and feeling sorry for myself because I was too tired/weak feeling to do anything else.

Wednesday:

  • Second sick day
  • 20 minutes of yoga

I felt even worse on Wednesday than I did on Tuesday…So I spend most of the day laying around, resting, and watching movies. But I did do a quick little “yoga for when you’re sick” sequence, from the Yoga with Adriene channel on YouTube. It actually did feel kinda good to stretch and move around a bit. 🙂

img_7427

Thursday:

  • Third sick day
  • 20 minutes of yoga

Oh man, I woke up feeling absolutely miserable on Thursday. But I think I was finally on the up swing. I wasn’t as achy or weak feeling as I was on the previous two days, and I was finally coughing up all the nastiness from my lungs, sneezing non stop, and even my ears were draining. So I figured everything was working it’s way up and out and that I was hopefully on the mend.

Still spent most of the day taking it easy and resting. I didn’t want to do too much and relapse or something. But I did do a little bit of light cleaning around the house (something I’d been neglecting since I got sick) and did the “yoga for when you’re sick” sequence again.

img_7434

Friday:

  • Fourth sick day

Good news! Was feeling a little bit better (but still pretty shitty) on Friday! Bad news! Not good enough to run. I mean, I probably would have if I didn’t have a race coming up next weekend and wasn’t concerned about getting as healthy as possible by then. So as antsy as it’s making my feel, I took another day off to rest and recuperate from this damn chest cold. Hahaha this cold has seriously been making me wish I still had an appendix, which supposedly aids in our immune systems. I talk a little bit more about that in this post, if you’re interested. 🙂

Saturday:

  • 5th sick day

I initially thought that I was going to be able to get a short run in on Saturday, but eventually decided against it. I was just exhausted and sore all over from coughing. I was feeling a bit better though and did do a decent amount of walking around. 😊

Also, shout out to my awesome mother in law for sending me a box of Honey Stinger waffles as an early birthday present! I am 1000% sure that giving the runner in your life their favorite running fuel as a gift is the best idea ever haha. 😊

Sunday:

  • 6th sick day (but I think it’s finally almost over!)
  • 3.1 miles

Brought my total weekly mileage up to 6.22 today and felt absolutely great doing it!! Well aside from the fact that my chest, lungs, throat, back, and abs all hurt from all of the coughing and hacking I’ve been doing this week. But my legs felt fantastic! So hopefully that’ll carry over to next Saturday’s half marathon. I’ve also been wearing the finisher’s shirt from my first half marathon a lot lately for luck. Lol I need about as much of that as I can get!!! 😂 I’m coming for you for a 3rd time Longview Half!!! 🏃🏻‍♀️👍🏻😁

Weekly Recap: October 16th-22nd, 2017

Monday:

  • 5 miles

I wasn’t exactly planning on going for 5 on Monday, but the weather was nice and I felt good, so it just kinda happened. 🙂 Honestly this run made me a little bit more confident about the half marathon next month. If we get lucky and get nice weather and if I’m feeling good, things should go pretty decently! At least I sure hope so haha.

img_7139

Tuesday:

  • 5k

This technically wasn’t my fastest 5k (new watch syndrome 😉 ), but hey, I’ll take it!! Hahaha honestly this was supposed to be an easy run, but it was another really nice day and was having fun pushing a little bit on the uphills so it just kinda happened. 🙂

Processed with Rookie Cam

Wednesday:

  • Rest day

I was going to do some yoga or something, but I guess I kinda forgot to after my little incident with yet another loose dog while walking Lily that morning. My brand new hoodie got ruined during that little adventure. Sad face…

img_7177

Thursday:

  • Rest day

Whoa, two rest days in a row? That hardly ever happens because holyshiti’mgonnaloseallmyfitness! 😉 Hahah ok not really, but I think you might know what I mean. Anyways, my fancy Garmin Feix 5 said I needed to spend about 50 more hours recovering (or doing an easy effort) on Thursday morning, so I figured I’d better not run. Especially since I slept pretty well but still woke up tired. Haha oh man, that’s never a good thing. But I’m trying to be super conscious and careful about this stuff because I really want to make that half marathon in November happen and it’s coming up so fast and I’m very under trained and feel super unprepared, but I’m gonna go for it anyway! Whew, that felt kinda long winded.

I’m also thinking about signing up for a spring half that I could actually potentially be ready for, but we shall see. I’m also tentatively planning on doing a full marathon in 2019. But just thinking about it scares the shit out of me so we’re not gonna talk about that right now. 😉

img_7194

Friday:

  • 3 miles

Ah this was a really good run. 🙂 My legs felt a little bit heavy, but other than that I felt pretty darn amazing! I actually probably had a few more mile left in me, but since I was planning to do 10 miles on Saturday I figured it was best to stop at 3. 🙂

Processed with Rookie Cam

Saturday:

  • 10 miles
  • ice bath
  • 10 minutes of foam rolling
  • 30 minutes on the stationary bike

Oh man, this run was one of the hardest that I’ve ever done! Like, just from start to finish it was awful. But I did it and I know I’m better for it. 🙂 So I did my ice bath, which was pretty miserable, but totally worth it. Then later that evening I put on my compression sleeves, did some foam rolling, and was about to get some stretching done, but my little next door neighbor came over so that didn’t end up getting done. Haha you can probably see, aside from running, I’ve been doing a whole lot of nothing…No stretching, strength training, I only foam rolled once. Oops.

Sunday:

  • Rest day

I woke up stiff everywhere. Not sore, just stiff. My legs, abs, arms, and upper back were just super uncomfortable. I probably should have seen that coming though. Yesterday’s 10 miler was the longest run I’ve done since August and this is the highest mileage week I’ve done in a very long time (and considering I’ve only run 21.22 miles this week that’s really not impressive haha). It’s all good though, I’m just glad to be running again. 🙂

Total Weekly Mileage: 21.22

So obviously I’m a very low mileage runner, but I’m planning on working on that over the winter and then over the course of next year. And then I think if I can get up to running around 35-40 is miles a week that I need to start training for a full marathon. So, I’m tentatively planning on that for 2019. Oh man, the thought of that is absolutely terrifying, but it’s also pretty exciting, so obviously I’m gonna have to do it. 😉

But I’m also a very injury prone person, so I’m going to need to work on that as well. I mean, part of it is probably from running so I’m going to need to focus more on recovery and strength work if I want to accomplish my goals. But at the same time, most of the injuries that have sidelined me have been because I’m a fucking klutz. Like, this whole knee thing that I’ve been dealing with over last few months happened because I somehow hurt in at the Green Day concert in August. Last year my brother in law dropped a piece of plywood on my toe and that messed it up bad enough to keep me from running for a few weeks. Once like a year or two ago I stepped off of the paved trail I was running on really weird and twisted my ankle. Another time I was doing cartwheels in the apartment that Luke and I used to live in (hahaha yeah, I don’t remember why…) and smacked my foot off of a low part in the ceiling and couldn’t walk for a few days after that. I could go on and on and on. So I guess I just need to be more careful? Haha I’m not sure how else to keep me from hurting myself in the most ridiculous ways possible…

Oh and one last thing! I’m on Strava (again haha 😉 )! If you’re on Strava feel free to add me, because as you can see, I need some more friends on there. 🙂

img_7299

But anyways, I hope you’ve had a good day and a great weekend!

Until next time,

~Ashley

Weekly Recap: September 25th-October 1st, 2017

Monday:

  • 2 miles
  • 15 minutes of yoga

I guess Monday was really just a test run to see how my knee felt. Haha it was super humid, hot, and gross out, and I felt pretty awful. That was pretty much to be expected though. The first few runs back always suck…but other than that it went well! My knee felt pretty good and I’m thinking I’ll be able to slowly get back into my running routine and will be good to go for my half marathon in November.

Also, if it could start feeling like fall outside, that’d be great…

Processed with Rookie Cam

Tuesday:

  • Rest day

Didn’t run on Tuesday, but Luke and I did see Cherry Bombs, Steel Panther, and Stone Sour live, so that was a lot of fun! 🙂

img_6707

Wednesday:

  • 3 miles

So this run went a lot better than I thought it would considering I’m slowly getting back into running, I was up late the night before, and I did some drinking at the Stone Sour concert. 😉 But it was about 60 degrees and lightly drizzling, so that made it more fun. 🙂

Processed with Rookie Cam

Thursday:

  • Rest day

So that kinda happened by accident. I was planning on doing some kind of cross training, but I ended up in a bit of a cleaning frenzy and ended up doing a bit of deep cleaning around the house instead. So I mean, really I’m just glad I ended up getting so much done haha!

Friday:

  • Pumpkin picking and errand running (totally counts! 😉)

Luke and I were super busy on Friday! First we went to a farm thing  where you can pick apples and pumpkins, and picked up some pretty awesome pumpkins! When we got there we found out that we actually got really lucky and that Friday was the first day that they were opening the pumpkin patch for pumpkin picking. And we got there right after they opened so we we were some of the first people to pick pumpkins! That was sooooo cool, because we got the first pick of the pumpkins (and we found some pretty freaking awesome ones!), the field wasn’t all trampled because hardly anyone had walked in it, so we got to walk around through the vines and I actually ran through them and hurdled them and told Luke about every singe neat pumpkin that I saw. Haha so yeah, basically I’m a toddler. 😉

Then after we got our pumpkins we went out for Chinese food (yum!), then went to several different stores to grocery shop and pick up stuff we needed. So basically we were gone most of the day and by the time we got home we were both exhausted and ended up watching Bob’s Burgers for the rest of the night. Hahaha so I didn’t run, but it ended up being a great day. 🙂

Saturday:

  • Rest Day

That wasn’t exactly the plan, but the day just kinda got away from me haha.

Sunday:

  • 2 miles
  • 15 minutes on the stationary bike

This was one of those really tough “just getting back into it” runs. It was short, slow, and sucky, but at least I’m getting out there and doing it. 😄
