I don’t really have a lot to talk about today, but I just wanted to quickly mention that I’ve been very much enjoying my little break from running, strength training, food tracking, hitting my step goal, and all of that stuff. 😉 It’s been really nice to just sit back, relax, and do anything and everything that’s not related to running haha.
It’s barely been a week, but I’m already feeling rested and rejuvenated, so I’m slowly starting to get back into the swing of things. Yesterday I did a little bit of cross training, worked on walking and moving around a little more (gotta place well in those Garmin step challenges 😉😉😉), and today I’m putting a little more thought into making good food choices. It all feels right again. 😁
I think I might even start doing a bit of running tomorrow! Haha I probably would have today, but they’re redoing a bunch of gas lines in the city, and the gas line to our house is very out of date and not up to code (along with several other houses in my neighborhood), so apparently the city is paying to have them a redone which is pretty neat! But they’re coming to do ours today and they’re going to be here for most of the day, so I’m pretty much gonna be stuck here. It’s all good though, but I am looking forward to slowly starting to run again. 😄
