Weekly Recap: September 18th-24th, 2017

Monday:

  • Rest day

I was feeling kinda off on Monday. It was kinda weird, I was just feeling super tired and run down. Haha weird because I haven’t been doing much running, but whatever. My body was telling my to rest, so rest I did. πŸ™‚ Also, my Zensah gear got here on Monday! Yay!! I’ve only worn the compression sleeves a few times but I already love them! And the bra is pretty comfortable too. πŸ™‚

Tuesday:

  • 40 minutes on the stationary bike

Ugh I probably should have tried another short run on Tuesday, but I just wasn’t feeling it. Haha I wasn’t really feeling that either but I needed to do something and the bike just seemed more convenient. Plus I could watch Green Day stuff on YouTube while biking so ya know, that basically helped me make my decision. πŸ˜‰

 

 

 

 

Wednesday: 

  • 1 mile run
  • 10 minute strength routine

Yay! I ran!! Granted it wasn’t a very long run haha. It was 80 degrees out and since I’m the worlds biggest wimp when it comes to the heat I just kinda quit. It’s all good though, because 1 mile is better than no miles. πŸ˜‰ Followed my short run with some strength stuff that also had a tiny bit of stretching in it. It was nice.

Thursday: 

  • 15 minutes on the stationary bike

Nothing too exciting on Thursday. Spent a short amount of time on my bike then cleaned the house. Fun fun fun. πŸ˜‰

Friday: 

  • Rest day

Yet another boring day. πŸ˜‰ Just needed another day off.

Saturday:

  • 30 minutes on the stationary bike
  • 15 minutes of yoga

Yeah, I probably should have run on Saturday. But I had stayed up pretty late the night before, woke up late, and by then it was super hot/humid and the sun was all the way up, and you know how big of a wimp I am when it comes to the heat haha. Oh well, at least I did something involving cardiovascular fitness. πŸ™‚

Sunday:

  • 40 minutes of yoga

Oh man this yoga practice was exactly what I needed today! I feel so so so great now! 😁

Anyways, my knee is feeling a lot better and I’m feeling good in general, so I plan on dedicating next week to getting back into running!
