- 1 hour on the stationary bike
So, my stationary bike is broken. It won’t turn on at all. That’s kinda why I haven’t been using it lately. Not knowing how far I’ve gone on it has been annoying, but I’ve gotten over it. So I pedaled away on it for an hour on Monday, while watching part of Green Day’s concert in Phoenix on YouTube. 🙂
- 3 easy miles
I started a new training plan this week! It’s just one of those free plans on Garmin Connect, but I’ve used the free Garmin plans to train for both of my half marathons and it went well both times, so I figured I’d try out the “improved your fitness” plan. Technically the plan started on Monday with a rest day (but I cross trained instead because I took a rest day on Sunday), but the first workout was on Tuesday.
The plan called for 35 minutes of easy running, which I did.l, but once I finished that I was super close to 3 miles, so I obviously had to keep going and hit the 3 mile mark. Plus it was snowing, so this run was just a whole bunch of fun!
- 45 minute Nike Training Club workout
Oh man, those intervals were tough! They were two minutes longer than I’ve been doing (which is why I started this training plan, I wanted to switch things up a bit), but I got them done and then a Nike Training Club workout.
- Easy 30 minutes
Nothing fancy or exciting on Thursday. That’s ok though, easy days are still fun. 😄
- Rest Day
Didn’t runbon Friday, but I did get a spiffy new pair of shoes! So that’s pretty exciting! 😄
- 45 easy minutes
I didn’t sleep well the night before, so I really didn’t want to do this run. But since I had a new pair of shoes to break in I got it done. 😀

Well, I was supposed to run 8 miles today, but I’ve been too busy chasing around our new puppy. Totally worth it!! We’ve had a lot of fun today.
