The Weekly Recap: November 14th-20th, 2016

Monday:

So begins my first week of not training for anything in particular. I’m taking a break from running until Thanksgiving, so I imagine this is going to be interesting.

Tuesday:

I guess Tuesday was a rest day. It was my birthday, so Luke took the day off from work and hung out with me and the dogs all day. That was fun!

Wednesday:

I was originally going to do an ab workout, but my dad, sister, and I are competing in a step challenge on Garmin Connect. My dad was winning and I couldn’t let that happen, so I walked 20,000 steps instead. Haha I forgot how hard it is to get in all these steps without running.

Thursday:

I had kinda planned to do a little bit more ab work on Thursday, but I ended up doing a lot more stretching instead. I feel like that’s a fair trade. All that stretching felt nice. 🙂

Friday:

  • 1 hour on the stationary bike

The new Pokémon games came out on Friday, so a little bit of multitasking was done. 😉

Saturday:

  • 1 easy mile

So, it was waaay to nice outside not to run on Saturday. It was 40 degrees and sunny so I had to do it. 😉

Sunday:

  • Rest Day

It’s been a very Pokémon filled weekend, but even more is happening today. 😄

It’s getting ridiculous up here. 23 degrees this morning! Aaarrgghh! Much as I hate to, I may have to start getting on the dreadmill. Boo. At least you like running in the cold and it’s probably not too bad there yet. You can run outside for the rest of us. 😀

Not gonna lie, I’m jealous! Lol I do LOVE the cold! A few years ago we had a really crazy winter and had a few days with wind chills that were -10 degrees, and I was still running outside. But no, it’s actually be crazy mild here. The highs have been in the 50’s and low 60’s which sucks. Usually by November the highs would be in the 30’s and 40’s…hopefully we’ll get there eventually. I wanna run in some snow!!!
