Half Marathon Training: Day 86

I forgot to mention yesterday that it’s officially peak week in my half marathon training plan! Thank goodness!! I feel like I’ve been living in a constant state of tired lately, and I’m ready to take things a little easier, rest, and recover. Oh but I’m sure in the following weeks I’ll be complaining about how running less. I’m just a complainer by nature, I guess. πŸ˜‰

Anyway, I woke up sore all over this morning which I thought was kinda weird because I didn’t do any crazy strength training or anything. Then I remembered everything I did yesterday and I suppose that’s probably the culprit. I guess I don’t have to feel so bad about skipping strength yesterday after all! 😁

Luckily today’s run was nothing all that exciting; just 3 easy miles. Although, that last mile sure didn’t feel very easy…

Of course the sound track to my run was Revolution Radio, yet again. I’m very much in love with this album and I’m still not tired of it! Haha I saw this picture yesterday and I thought it was super funny and it made me think of, well…me! πŸ˜‚

Oh man, I’ve invested waaay to much of my time into Green Day related things and I don’t even care. But I’m done for now, so here’s possibly my favorite song from Revolution Radio!
