10/17/16

Oh man, I’ve been one busy bee today! I was up at 6:17 this morning and was on my feet pretty much until 5 pm when Luke got home from work. All I can say is, thank goodness for compression socks! 

I ran, did a bunch of gross stuff (cleaned the cats’ litter box and the ferrets cage, took picked up and took out the trash, unclogged the vacuum, and scrubbed sticky stuff off the stove), tended to the rabbits, bathed Lily while showering, cleaned some old food out of the fridge, did and put away 7 loads of laundry, ran the dishwasher 4 times and put all those dishes away, made/ate lunch, cleaned the kitchen, cleaned the living room, swept/vacuumed/mopped the floors, put more laundry away, and started dinner. 

At the very least, I feel super accomplished! Plus my run went well which is always a good thing. I was a little worried about that since it was a threshold run and I kinda suck at those, but I think I did pretty well today! 


The workout was a 15 minute warm up, 15 minutes at threshold pace, 15 minutes at an easy pace, then I cooled down for about 8 minutes. Haha I mostly just wanted to hit 4 miles. Which I did. πŸ˜„ I also kept my pace easy when I needed to and hard when I was supposed to, even when going up hill. I’m pretty proud of myself today. 

Well I suppose I need to go eat and stretch, so today I leave you with my new favorite song!
