Felt really good on Monday! I probably went a little to hard on the uphills to actually call this an easy run, but I was just having too much fun pushing a little bit. Since I’m kinda heat sensitive I don’t get to really go “hard” in the summer, so I’m a little over zealous now that the weather is cooling off. 😉

Was supposed to do intervals. I sorta did intervals…but since I went a little crazy on the hills on Monday, my legs were tired and I wasn’t feeling it and I quit almost halfway through. Oops.
- Rest Day
I’ve never been so excited to see a rest day on my schedule before! For some reason I’m just dragging ass this week and it’s no fun..but I did have fun making applesauce! That was an exciting adventure!

Ewww, my least favorite workout ever. It actually went really well though! It was probably the nice weather. 😄
- 30 minute run
This was supposed to be a recovery run, but the nice weather and new Green Day had me a little too excited and I ended up running way to hard. Oops…At least I had fun though!

- Lots and lots of walking
So I totally regretted not actually doing a recovery run on Friday. My legs were very unhappy during most of my long run…but I got it done and only 2 seconds slower than last week. Which is impressive, all things considered. 😁
So after my run, Luke and I took the dogs to the park. Then in the evening we too them for another walk. That’s when Luke decided I needed to hit 30,000 steps that day, since I’ve never done it before. So we ended up walking quite a bit last night, but I got to 30,000!
- Rest Day
Thank goodness!! I’ve had some good workouts this week, but I also got my ass kicked. Luckily next week is an “easier” week.
Total Weekly Mileage: 20.50
I’m super happy with that number! Now I want to constantly have 20 mile weeks. 😄
