Weekly Recap August 22nd-28th, 2016

Now that it’s not so ridiculously hot out I can start running with Dean again! He’s just as excited about that as I am!!

Ugh I wasn’t feeling too great on Tuesday. Every single interval got slower as I went. Not ideal, but at least I did it. And I hatched a Seel, so I’d say it was a productive workout. 😉



  • 30 easy minutes
  • 30 minutes (7.2 miles) on the stationary bike

Nothing exciting to report from Wednesday. It was just another nice and easy day.



I’d sayThursday was a successful rest day! At the very least I got lots of stretching done.


Friday was kinda tough. I didn’t sleep well the night before, my hamstrings were crazy tight, it was super humid, and I got out too late so the sun was out. It’s ok though, Green Day makes everything better. 😉



My long run was super wet, muddy, slippery, and slow this week. But all that mud was kinda fun.



  • Rest day

Thank goodness! My legs are done haha!


Total weekly mileage: 17.39

I’ve been stuck in 10 mile weeks for like, 2 months, so I’m supper happy with this week’s milage. I’m so mentally weak and the heat just destroys me, but once I get even the slightest hint of cooler weather I perk right back up haha. There have been some bumps (and mud and water) on the road so far, but I think training for my second half marathon is finally starting to go well and in the right direction! I am officially crazy excited for this race!!
