Warning; Pity Party Ahead

I kinda hate both of my dogs right now. They were up all night running around the bedroom and making a bunch of noise, but of course when Luke got up they were both sound asleep. As for us, well we both got a really shitty night of sleep. Plus for some reason it was super hot in our bedroom last night and I never sleep well when I’m hot…

And of course the heat advisory got extended. It’s supposed to be really hot for the rest of this week and all of next week. Ugh I hate August. I hate summer. I hate heat. I want it to be October and cold and rainy. Or better yet, late November and the first snow flurries of the year. I want to be able to go for a run without having to wake up at 5 am. I want to be able to go for a run and not be completely miserable. I want running to be fun again. 😦

Since it’s sunny and already 80 degrees I wont be running this morning. That’s just too much for me right now. I mean, today is supposed to be a rest day, but I didn’t run yesterday either. Whatever. Instead I’m going to make myself some breakfast, and wait another hour for Green Day’s new single to play on the radio. That’ll probably put me in a better mood.

That’s so funny. I’m counting down the days with sadness until my summer is gone. Although we have a heat advisory today 1-8pm..and I think this heat is slowly turning me into a cool weather person, I adore summer πŸŒžβ˜‰ I just can’t take the cold it takes me too long to warm up and I’m just blah! But running in this heat is no freakin joke whew! It has beat up one side and down the other. So I feel ya…

I’ve always been a cold weather person. I do everything better in the cold lol. I sleep better, run better, feel better, etc. Dude right?! Running in the heat is so freaking tough! Plus it hardcore drains me physically and mentally…
