Nothing all that exciting about Monday’s run, but sometimes that’s a good thing.
Planned on doing some stretching and ab work after my run, but that didn’t end up happening. Oops. 😆
- Rest Day
It was MUCH needed!!
- 40 minutes (10.5 miles) on the stationary bike
- Runners yoga
- 5 minutes of foam rolling
So as you can see, we had another heat advisory on Tuesday, that actually ended up being extended for the rest of the week. Ewww…I didn’t feel like putting up with that on Thursday so I skipped out on running and spent 40 minutes on the stationary bike. I feel like that’s pretty sufficient though. Thursday was supposed to be an easy run anyway. 🙂
Warmed up with a 10 minute jog that took me to the big hill in my neighborhood (this picture totally doesn’t do it justice), ran up it for 4 minutes, recovered by going down for 2 minutes, then repeated that 2 more times.
- 4.71 Miles
- 15 minutes of Stretching/foam rolling
The original plan was to do 5 miles, but Luke met me on the trail and we ran together for a little bit and caught a few Pokemon. Haha our Pokemon adventures killed my pace, but we had a lot of fun. 😄
- Rest day
I think we’re going to take the dogs to the park whenever Luke gets up, but other than that we’re not doing anything today and it’s wonderful!
