Hot/humid/foggy on Monday morning. Had to walk up the hills because my asthma was given me a bit of trouble, but other than that I felt pretty good. 😄
Also, didn’t do any stretching or strength training like I should have on Monday, but I did get really close to 20,000 steps and I think that’s an accomplishment!
- 30 minutes on the stationary bike
- Yoga for weight loss followed by headstand practice
Watched a storm front move in, Walked Dean, did my workout, walked then bathed Lily, picked up the house, did some yoga, and went to Luke’s softball game. Tuesday was a good day.
- Rest day
It’s days like these that make me wish I had a treadmill. Luke and Dean kept me up all night so I got up late and didn’t feel like braving the heat. Oh well.
I actually had a decent day though. But any day that starts off with coffee and Stephen King is a good day. 😉 I even got my steps in, which has been of upmost importance to me lately. Haha not sure why though. I guess those Garmin connect challenges bring out my competitive side.

Nothing too exciting about Thursday’s run. Just went out and got it done.
- Rest Day
Though about running today, but I decide I should just take it easy. Half marathon training starts soon, so I might as well take days things easy while I can!

- Spent the whole day helping friends move
Started my Saturday with the longest run I’ve done since my first half marathon last year. It was pouring down rain and actually cool outside, so I figured it was a good opportunity to push myself.
I originally wanted to do 8 miles, but I was cutting it really close time wise, plus I was completely soaked, my shoes were waterlogged and heavy, and honestly I don’t think I had another .5 mile in me that day. Oh well, I’m still proud of what I accomplished.
After my run we literally spent the rest of the day helping some friends move. I think that totally counts as strength training. Also, I got close to 20k steps again. 🙂
- Rest day
So today I’m sore, tired, and don’t plan on moving at all. Yesterday just took too much out of me haha.
Total Weekly Milage: 13.51
Not bad actually! Consider I only ran 3 times this week.
