Weekly Recap: June 20th – 26th

Monday:

  • Rest Day

I was too tired from the weekend shenanigans to even think about doing anything.

Tuesday: 

  • 5 miles
  • Weeded a bit
  • Pitched softballs for about 20 minutes

The most depressing part of today’s run was thinking about pancakes for the entirety of the run, then getting home and finding out that my brother-in-law ate both of our half full boxes of pancakes mix while we were gone. 😞

Wednesday:

  • Walked Lily about 1.5 miles
  • 30 minutes (7.5 miles) on the stationary bike
  • Yoga for Beginners: Flexibility and Core strength, followed by headstand practice

On Tuesday I stepped in a pothole wrong and kinda hurt my foot. Nothing too bad, and when I woke up Wednesday morning my foot felt like, 90% better, but I wanted to play it safe, so no run.

Plus I woke up at 7:30. Not exactly late, but too late to get out before the sun. Oh well, sleeping in was nice. πŸ˜„



Thursday: 

  • 5K

My foot felt 100% better by the afternoon on Wednesday so that’s good! 

I finally got my pancakes!! My amazing husband picked me up some more mix on Wednesday, so I got pancakes after I ran. πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒ


Friday:

  • Rest Day

Good! It was too hot to move anyway. 

Saturday:

Nope, nope nope. Couldn’t do it. 

The plan was to do 5 miles and the first mile went super well, but my asthma started acting up and I ended up walking most of the second mile, then calling it quits. 



Sunday:

  • Rest Day

Total weekly running mileage: 10.21

Well this week didn’t go as planned…oh well, I suppose I needed to take an “easy” week anyway.
