I woke up stiff and sore and tired and cranky. Usually I’d fix that with coffee and a run, but since I’m trying to avoid caffeine in excess while my ribs heal, I skipped the coffee and went for a short, easy run.
Oh man, I don’t think I’ve ever felt so awkward and inefficient on a run! The actual act of running wasn’t too bad, but the whole breathing thing was kinda painful. Which is a pretty big problem to have while running haha. I was taking really short/shallow breaths so I wasn’t feeling all too great on the run, but at least I got up and moving and have some endorphins flowing! I definitely feel better than I did when I woke up.
During normal, non hurt ribs circumstances I probably would have done 4 miles to celebrate May the 4th. But obviously that’s not the case, so I don’t even know why I’m talking about it. 😉
