So, yesterday was crazy…

I was running around like a chicken with it’s head cut off, trying to get shit clean and in order because my parents were supposed to visit this weekend.

One of the things I needed to do was bathe the dogs. No big deal, right? I mean, I do that all the time! Whenever I go about getting the dogs clean I usually just bring them in the shower with me. It’s just easier and less messy that way.

This time around things when a bit awry. It all happened so fast, so I’m still not entirly sure how this all went down. Basically, I ended up tripping over Lily, falling, and hitting my rib cage on the side of the bathtub. Hard. Like, really hard. I got the wind knocked out of me and had to lay down for a little bit, but I’m fine now. Kinda stiff, sore, and in a bit of pain, though. Oh, and Lily’s just fine. πŸ˜‰

That evening my dad called me, kinda freaked out, and told me they can’t come this weekend. Apparently my mom had a seizure! She was in the hospital all night for observation and had a bunch of tests done. As far as I know, they still don’t know what caused it, but she feels fine this morning.

That’s pretty much all that went down, but it was pretty crazy! I’m not sure what’s all going to happen with my mom, but I’m definitely going to be out of commission for a few days…

Oh no, really hope your mom is okay. That sort of stuff can be scary. At times like these, being a runner is a very good thing because it can do wonders at clearing our heads. Hope your ribs feel well enough to get back out there soon!
