Tomorrow is long run day and I’m not prepared in any way, shape, or form.😁
I hardly slept last night (here’s hoping tonight will be better), my water intake for today has been almost non existent up until 4 pm, 90% of my caloric intake today has been chocolate and Mac and cheese (that’s not even an over-exaggeration), I’m still crazy sore from a workout I did on Wednesday, and I have no idea what the weather is supposed to be like, and thus, have no idea what I need to wear.
Whew! That’s a lot of things. Obviously they’re mostly self inflicted and some are easily dealt with. Apparently I just don’t like making things easy for myself.😅
Luckily I don’t plan on my long runs being all that long until I hopefully start training for my second half marathon later this year. I’m still not 100% sure this is going to happen, but I want to run the Longview Half again!
To say that tomorrow’s 5 miles are going to be interesting is a severe understatement, but I’m still gonna try! I’m chugging water, about to check weatherbug, and at some point I’m going to get some stretching done.
