I haven’t attempted a fartlek in a while so this was kinda fun! And I actually stretched right after I ran! Haha I haven’t done that in a while. 😆

- 30 minutes of run/walk intervals with the husband
- 5 minutes of stretching
Yay! I got my husband to run with me!! Not so yay, my shin was KILLING me the entire time. So I iced and I stretched and I hope that this wasn’t going to sideline me again.
- 2 mile run
I wanted to do a 5k on Thursday, but at 2 miles my shin started hurting again. Shit…maybe I should have taken the day off. On the bright side, I’m getting a little less slow every week! I probably could have picked the pace up just a little for the last 1.1 miles if I hadn’t started hurting.
- Rest Day
- 10 minutes in the stationary bike (2.5 miles)
- 25 minutes of ab work
Worked ou with my husband again! We both warmed up on the stationary bike, then we did our ab workout, then we walked the dogs to cool down.
- 2.15 mile run
- 10 minutes of stretching/foam rolling
Did more run/walk intervals with Luke today! And he didn’t even complain. Haha I was actually the one doing the complaint today. It was hot and I was thirsty…It was a good run though. We went a little farther today which is always a good thing. Oh, and my shin didn’t bother me as much today. I still plan on taking next week a little easier, but in thinking I’m not actually going to have to take any time off. 😁
So yeah, I’m super excited about Luke working out with me. It’s lots of fun for both of us. 😄😄😄
